Katy’s biggest attribute is her ability to make ANY rider feel at ease. Her relaxed manner but meticulous eye for detail ensure that she is one of the country’s busiest mountain bike coaches. With 10+ years of coaching knowledge and 15+ years of national and world cup racing experience Katy can adapt her coaching skills for any rider, of any level, with any goal.

With over 10 years of industry expertise in health, nutrition and movement Karen focuses on creating movement and wellness experiences that support the body long term. Karen’s sense of humour shines through in her teaching style ensuring that laughter and play become a key feature of every class.

 

Join the Tribe for a special day in the forest and a chance to connect, ride and relax with like minded females.

In collaboration with Katy Curd Coaching and Soul Connection Yoga the day will include a morning session of skills coaching in the Forest of Dean, lunch and then the chance to unwind with an afternoon of rider specific yoga.

Ride. Refresh. Relax.

Day outline:

  • 9.30am - Meet group

  • 9.45am - 12.30pm - Morning coaching session

    The day will start with a morning session on the trails lead by Katy Curd or one of her coaches for 2.45hrs of skills coaching and guided riding to make the most of off-piste style trails.

  • 12.30pm - Lunch

    Meet back at the centre for lunch which will be provided by Pedalabikeaway Cafe, all included in the price.

  • 2pm - 5pm - Afternoon of post-ride recovery Yoga

    Regroup at the local Village hall for an afternoon of Yoga inspired movement for the rider specific body. Whether you practise regularly or have never tried it before, Karen teaches with everyone in mind. Your practise will work to mobilise and free-up rider specific areas of tension, while incorporating nourishing deep stretches to combat tired trail legs, shoulders, and spine.

  • Connect & Refresh

    Refreshments and snacks will be provided to allow everyone to have a good catch up and chat over a cuppa & cake before the end of the day.

*The morning session will be split into two ability groups for skills coaching and guided riding to make the most of the off-piste style trails.

*You do not need to have any previous experience in Yoga.
