10.15am - Meet & greet Tribe host and group

Over the 2.5hr session we will focus on:
PUMPING - Understand how to weight and unweight your bike to squash features and gain speed
FRONT WHEEL LIFTS - Learn how to safely lift your front wheel
BUNNY HOPS - Understand the correct technique needed to pop and float your bike into the air
ROLLING DROPS - Stay in control whilst pumping through the small drops
DROPS - Learn various techniques to keep you safe riding drops at your own pace
JUMPS - Understand the different techniques needed to stay balanced and in control over any jump
1pm - 1.30pm - After the session we will regroup for a quick coffee or lunch. Those who have time to stay on may wish to then go practice some of those newly learnt skills after lunch.
This course is aimed at riders comfortable on blue trails and looking to progress their skills to the next level under the expert guidance from Katy Curd in a super friendly and non-intimidating all female group environment. We recommend that you have done the ‘Trail Progression’ session before ‘Jumps & Drops’ to help you progress at a faster level but it is not essential.
You need to bring your own MTB suitable for the trails (or hire one). It is your responsibility to make sure it is in good working order for the session and you bring the necessary non-standard tools should you need to repair or adjust it.
